The phone is capable of multitasking but it does tend to kill more apps in the background than an Android flagship, with say, 12 or 16 GB of RAM would. Nevertheless, for a phone with 6 GB RAM, this is still one of the most powerful ones you can buy on the market. Benchmarks tell part of the story, with the iPhone 13 Pro Max scoring 2256 in the GeekBench Single Core test and 5402 in the GeekBench Multi-Core test. The chipset is also very power-efficient, and the screen-on time that you would get out of this phone is excellent. Overall, this is an excellent option to consider when looking for a 6 GB RAM phone.

Still, the multitasking abilities would be slightly better than the iPhone SE. We got a decent score of 691272 in AnTuTu and 9758 in PCMark Work. The phone is also capable of playing intensive shooter games such as Call of Duty: Mobile at 60 fps without frame drops for a round or two. Post that, it can get a bit hot and the CPU also throttles a bit, so keep that in mind.

The only game where we saw it struggle a bit was Genshin Impact where even high-end phones suffer. The phone houses the reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor with 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM on the base variant. While we tested the 8 GB RAM variant, the 6 GB variant should also perform sufficiently well when it comes to multitasking since we faced absolutely no issues with our review unit. The phone only lagged behind the Redmi K50i and Moto Edge 30 in our tests that houses the Dimensity 8100 SoC and Snapdragon 778G+ SoC respectively.
