You also get a 10 MP periscope telephoto shooter which allows for 10x optical zoom and another 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom capabilities. There’s a 12 MP ultrawide shooter with Dual Pixel PDAF as well. All three complimentary lenses throw up good results in daylight and the zoom capabilities of the 10 MP periscope lens is the best in the market. Overall, this is a versatile quad camera setup, and the best one you can get in the market now.

The Vivo X80 Pro is the successor to the Vivo X70 Pro+ and it gets all the major flagship features that you expect from a top-tier flagship device. It is a year old now but it still is a very powerful device. Vivo has put their proprietary V1+ chip in the X80 Pro which helps process AI-backed features and works in tandem with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The phone houses a quad camera setup including a 50 MP main lens, an 8 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, another 12 MP telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom and a 48 MP ultra-wide shooter. The camera lenses have been coated with Zeiss T* coating that reduces glare and ghosting in photos. We actually got to experience that when we tested premium phones for our Digit Zero1 Awards where the Vivo X80 Pro had the best glare free low light photos. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a versatile quad rear camera setup. Even though it is last year’s flagship, it is still very capable. It has a 108MP primary sensor leading the way. You also get a periscopic telephoto lens, a telephoto shooter, and an ultrawide lens. The selfie camera is a 40MP shooter. The primary camera is capable of clicking great photos in daylight and low light with good detail and colour but the ultrawide lens’ performance in low light could use improvement. It also doesn’t have as strong video capturing abilities as its successor, so you should keep that in mind.

The OnePlus 9 Pro has quad cameras on the back headlined by a 48MP primary camera that offers f/1.8 aperture with OIS, an 8MP telephoto camera that offers upto 3.3x optical zoom with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP monochrome camera sensor. The cameras on the OnePlus 9 Pro have been tuned by Hasselblad. The cameras perform well but they don’t match up to the recent OnePlus roster of flagship phones. However, if you don’t have to focus on a subject up close, this camera system can take some amazing shots with vivid colours, good detail, and low noise.
