National Cinema Day is being celebrated in the country on September 16, i.e., next Friday. On this day, the Multiplex Association of India is offering movie tickets at ₹75 across 4000 screens. So, moviegoers would be able to watch their preferred movie on the big screen at a fairly affordable price. And a movie that will be out by then is Brahmastra: Part One, which means you could watch it for that nominal ticket price. Let’s see how it works.
But, before that, here’s a run through the Brahmastra movie synopsis, cast, and why it is being considered the biggest Bollywood cinema in a long time.
More specifically, it is Brahmastra: Part One — Shiva.
The movie is directed by Ayan Mukherji of Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani and Wake Up Sid fame. Both of those movies star Ranbir Kapoor in the lead and he will be the protagonist of the Brahmastra: Part One. He will be playing the titular character of Shiva. He will be paired with Alia Bhatt, his wife in real life. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and perhaps even Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo.
Now coming to the story, Brahmastra is a fantasy movie intertwining the modern world and characters with Hindu mythology involving the eponymous Brahmastra, a powerful weapon that’s believed to be capable of destroying the entirety of creation. There’s our hero who’s a DJ and also learns his control over fire and Brahmastra in the journey of self-discovery. There are villains who are in pursuit to get hold of this power. In the mix, there’s love, romance, magic, and a fair share of supernatural.

You should be able to snag the Brahmastra movie tickets for ₹75 from Bookmyshow and similar portals. The only catch is that the Rs. 75 ticket price is exclusive of taxes and things like convenience fees that these online booking sites charge. So, your effective ticket price could go above ₹75.
Your other option is to visit the theatre and purchase the tickets over the counter.
Now, to avoid the hassle with the offline buy, you could book a Brahmastra ticket online at ₹75.
Whatever the case may be, we urge you not to pirate the film.
