Like the Xiaomi Mi Band, the Talkband also consists of a dongle, which houses all the sensors and Bluetooth connector. More importantly, the Talkband can double up as a Bluetooth headset as well. The dongle is made completely out of metal.

You have to dowload the Huawei Wear app on your Android or iOS device in order to track and log the data from this smartband. You can swipe on the Talkband's display to find out your goals and how much you've achieved.

There are a pair of small buttons on either side of the device. Pressing these takes the dongle out of the contraption, allowing you to use it as a Bluetooth headset.

The much acclaimed Huawei Watch W1 was also announced at the event. The device looks identical to the Moto 360 smartwatch, but its raised edges provide more protection to the LCD in case of any falls.

The faux winding button on the Huawei Watch W1 is nearer to the upper side of the device, as compared to the more central placement on the Moto 360.
