Further, the pandemic also fueled this craze. According to Netflix, K-drama viewership on the platform increased by more than 370% during the COVID-19 lockdown. 

There are many online platforms where you can watch Korean movies and dramas. However, if you are searching for some new Korean content to watch, you can use the following streaming services.

  • Netflix: The subscription to Netflix starts from Rs. 149 for mobile phones, and the base plan in India costs Rs. 199. It is the most streamed Korean drama platform. You can watch the latest Korean drama and movies on Netflix.
  • Amazon Prime Video: Amazon Prime Video is a newcomer in this segment but has a good collection of Korean drama content. From old Korean movies and series to the latest ones, like Mr Queen and The Penthouse. It also includes some popular K-drama content which is not available on Netflix. The Prime Membership costs Rs. 179/month and Rs.1499/year.
  • Viki: Viki is a popular streaming service for Asian dramas and movies in general and also streams many K-drama content. The subscriptions start at Rs. 299 per month or ₹3,099 per year. If you don't want to subscribe, you can use the app for free but with ads. It is one of the best apps for the latest Korean content. 
  • MX Player: Watch over 50 dubbed Korean movies in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil using MX Player. If you don't want ads to interrupt your watching experience, subscribe to it for Rs. 199/year.
