There’s been a lot of buzz about the upcoming flagship offering from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S23. Now, the Korean manufacturer has revealed that the smartphone will launch in February at the Unpacked event. An executive from the company stated, “The S23 series will be shown during our own Unpacked event in the United States, which will be held in February”. While this is not confirmed, it is believed that this event will take place in San Francisco, and will be the first Unpacked event ever since the pandemic started.

However, there are a few contradictory reports to this, with many stating that the event will take place at CES in Las Vegas. That said, the brand has never used CES for launching any of its Galaxy S devices, which is why these reports seem a little iffy.

What features will the Samsung Galaxy S23 have?

The upcoming flagship lineup will feature three models - the Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. All three models will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC (as opposed to an Exynos one). Rumours regarding the Samsung Galaxy S23 offering satellite communication have also been doing the rounds. A case leak in the past also confirmed that the smartphone may have a triple camera design that is quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G.

In other news, the Samsung Galaxy S23 is said to be equipped with a 200 MP camera. It will also have a 10MP 10x zoom sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The smartphone will also feature an AMOLED display with over 2,200 nits of brightness.
