The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is a good refinement of the formula the company had going on with the S22 Ultra and even the S21 Ultra. The company fixed past issues such as excessive heat, throttling, and mediocre battery life, while keeping similar design elements. The phone is extremely capable in almost every department – the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chipset handles any task you throw at it without a hitch, the cameras are superb in almost any lighting condition, the battery life is long-lasting, and the S-Pen adds a lot of functionality. There are still some issues. For one, the 45 W charging actually isn’t much faster than the 25 W charging speeds on its predecessor, so it takes well over an hour to fully charge this phone. Additionally, the phone is massive and certainly takes a toll on your hands after holding it for long periods. But these nitpicks aside, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is still one of the most complete Android smartphones in the market with a beautiful design, capable display, fast processor, and excellent cameras all in one package.
