Redmi is set to launch its Redmi 12 series of smartphones very soon and the brand promises a “5G Revolution” with the launch of the Redmi 12 5G. You’ll get MIUI 14 based on Android 13, so unless Xiaomi has made any big changes to the UI – expect a ton of bloatware and ads. The phone’s USP is its ultra-fast 240 W charging that is the first in the industry. The 240 W charger tops the phone’s 4,600 mAh battery up in just 9 minutes from 0-100 and you can get to 50 per cent battery in just 4 minutes! We experienced this personally and were astounded by the crazy fast speeds. The phone is said to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo 5, a device that was launched in China a couple weeks before Realme unveiled the GT3 at MWC. The price of the Realme GT 3 is set at $649 which converts to ₹53,109. The phone has some really stellar specs including an AMOLED display with 144 Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, and a 50 MP main camera with OIS capabilities. All of this points to the device being a solid high-end phone that will likely be a popular one in India.
